Stap 01: Record it at the kitchen table
One tap before you sit down, phone on the table, and that is it, even when there is no signal in the house.
A roof is often sold on the driveway: how many squares, the shingle line, tear-off, gutters, a skylight while you are at it. Record that conversation and the quote is ready the same day, in your template, at your prices. You read it over and send it, and the homeowner signs on their phone.

How it works
Nothing about your sales call changes. The only thing you add is one tap before you sit down.
In the quote
A roof has many lines, each with its own unit. This is what ends up in the quote.
The roof area you measured, in squares. A quantity said during the visit lands in the quote with a pointer to the moment it was said, and one without a source is flagged.
Architectural or three-tab, metal, the color. The speech engine knows the names in your price list, so the line the homeowner picks lands in the quote as your item at your price.
Every item has its own unit: roofing by the square, drip edge and gutters by the linear foot, vents and skylights by the piece.
Tearing off the old layers, replacing rotten decking, the dumpster. The work you discuss becomes its own lines, so the homeowner sees what is included.
Undecided about a better shingle line, gutter guards or an extra skylight? Put it in the quote as an option. The homeowner checks what they want, watches the total update, and signs for what they chose.
Take a deposit when materials are ordered and the balance on completion? Your payment schedule is in the quote with the amounts filled in.
Under the hood
You load your inventory and your price list once. Whatever the homeowner asks for in their own words lands on the quote as your line item at your price. And from every line you can jump back to the sentence where they asked for it.
Yes, it records on your phone, inside or out. The quieter the spot, the better the conversation is understood, and while recording the screen shows whether it still hears you.
Yes. Put it in as its own line or as an option, at your price per sheet, so the homeowner knows up front what it costs if it is needed.
Until the date on it. After that the homeowner can no longer sign it, and you send a new version with a new date.
