How referrals work.
Get your link
In the app, go to Settings, then Referrals. One click gives you your own link to share as often as you like.
Share it
By text, email or at a trade show. Whoever opens it sees your company's name and picks their own plan.
Get your discount
It counts once they've also paid their second month, at the regular price, and asked for nothing back. Then $184 comes off your next invoice, and you see it in the app right away.

When do I get my discount?
Once the company you referred has also paid its second month, at the regular price, and asked for nothing back. The discount comes off your next invoice. Earned more than one at a time? They come off the invoices after that, one a month.
How many companies can I refer?
As many as you like. You get a discount for up to 12 companies a year, so up to 12 months of Starter.
Is the discount the same on every plan?
Yes: always $184, the price of one month of Starter. On Starter your next month is free; on Team and Company you pay that much less.
What does the company I refer get?
50% off its first month, on whichever plan it chooses. After that it pays the regular price.
Does the company have to use my link?
Yes, that's how we know it came from you. If they opened your link on a different device than the one they signed up on, email us and we'll connect it ourselves.
Where can I see who signed up through me?
In the app, under Settings, then Referrals. Every company that came through your link is listed there, along with whether your discount is earned, on your invoice or applied.
Program terms
- You get $184 off for every new company that signs up and pays through your link, for up to 12 companies in any twelve months. The discount comes off an invoice for your subscription and is never paid out in cash.
- A referral counts once the new company has paid for two months and nothing was refunded, and no sooner than 15 days after its first payment (the 14-day money-back period in our terms).
- A company can be referred once, by one customer. A company can't refer itself, including through a second account, or a company with the same owners or tax ID. We review referrals like these before they count.
- The new company gets 50% off its first month, and only if it has never paid before.
- If a link is misused (posted on a coupon site, for example), we switch it off. Referrals already connected carry on as usual.
- GrizzlyCloser may change or end this program. Discounts you've already earned stay yours.
