Accessibility statement

01

What this statement covers

This statement covers the website grizzlycloser.com, the GrizzlyCloser app, and the quote pages companies send their customers through GrizzlyCloser.

We want everyone to be able to use them, including people with low vision or hearing loss, people who use a screen reader, people who don't use a mouse, and people working on a small phone.

02

The standard we follow

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. It is the international standard for accessible websites, and the basis of the European standard EN 301 549.

Our website, app and quote pages partially conform to it: most of it conforms, and what does not yet is listed under point 4.

03

What we do

  • Automated tests check the website, sign-in, the quote page and the main screens of the app against the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules a computer can check: the names of buttons and fields, the language of the page, the structure of headings and lists.
  • Text meets the contrast WCAG asks for (4.5:1, or 3:1 for large text). If a company picks a color for its quote that is too light to read as text, the text is set in dark ink and the page uses that color only as a fill.
  • The quote page, signing a quote and the quote editor work with a keyboard alone, and you can always see where you are. A link at the top of the page lets you skip past the menu.
  • On a phone, buttons are at least 44 pixels, text on the quote page is at least 14 pixels, and form fields are large enough that your phone does not zoom in.
  • If you ask your device for reduced motion, the website stands still.
  • Illustrations are decoration: a screen reader skips them, and what they show is also in the text.
  • A quote's PDF is a tagged PDF with bookmarks, so a screen reader can read it aloud.
04

What is not right yet

  • We test with automated tests and with a keyboard. People who use a screen reader or voice control themselves have not tested our screens yet.
  • The illustrations on the website move by themselves and keep moving; there is no button to pause them. If you ask your device for reduced motion, they stand still.
  • In the app, the head of Grizzly, the assistant, moves briefly every 15 seconds. If you ask your device for reduced motion, it stays still.
  • What a company puts on its own quote, such as its logo and its texts, is made by that company. If something there is hard to read, let us know and we will sort it out with the company.

How we checked

We wrote this statement on October 20, 2026, after our own review: automated WCAG 2.2 A and AA tests on every page of the website, sign-in, the quote page and the main screens of the app, plus keyboard checks. We update it when something changes.
